COMPARESION OF GENOMIC AND ANTIGENIC PROPERTIES OF NEWCASTLE DIESEASE VIRUS GENOTYPE II, XXI AND VII FROM EGYPT
The results of this article show that the Newcastle virus of genotype VII or G7 has more than 11% amino acid difference with the vaccinal strain of genotype two, Newcastle Lasota. Also, the serum antibody titer obtained from genotype V (VII) against the virus of genotype 2 i.e. Newcastle Lasota virus was significantly reduced by 3log2 and genotype 1 i.e. Newcastle V4 also by 3log2.
